·        Requirements gathering and creation of Transmission Finance reports to show Megawatt Hours and related costs using Excel.

·        Created Cognos Reports using Impromptu. Utilized Toad to analyze Oracle data proprietary to Transmission Schedules by creating SQL queries.

·        Utilized Cognos-Impromptu, Visual Studio, VB.NET, and Visual Basic 6 for PacifiCorp’s Intranet Site’s Reporting tools to create Excel and HTML output files. Data was extracted from Oracle Databases. Created Excel Pivot table reports, detail drill down reports, and summary reports.

·        Performed trouble shooting-analysis to determine transmission variations in hourly electricity production and path of energy delivery.

Contractor at Nike:

·        Gathered and managed requirements, created and generated reports, conducted System Development Life Cycle process. Designed, developed, and implemented new Sales Order system for Exeter Brand, a Nike subsidiary (Visual Basic 6, VBA, SQL Server 2000). The Sales Order System automated the process of constructing sales orders from Wal-Mart purchase orders provided to Exeter in Microsoft Word, RTF file format. Proposed system must parse and extract pertinent data contained in Wal-Mart purchase order document (Word RTF file) required to complete construction of an Exeter sales order as follows:

·        Data extraction using stored procedures and ADO technology invoked from an Access 2003 front-end interface. The Sales Order System was a fully automated Sales Order constructor-application comprising a parsing engine built using Visual Basic 6, VBA, ADO, and ODBC with a SQL Server 2000 backend-database.

·        Executed process to automate the uploading of all available purchase order documents using a file sniffer routine to locate available purchase order files. Executed parsing procedures to extract proprietary data from the purchase order, and persisted the data to a SQL Server 2000 database. The stored data was maintained in a normalized relational database model.

Designed, developed, and implemented a relational database management system to track sales, and purchases of Logo Golf Balls. The Vendor Work Order interface will capture product orders, and output in XML format viewable in an IE Web browser.
